The Chancel Choir holds rehearsals at church on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. from September through May. The choir is always looking for new members. Please see Robin or Tracey for additional information.

The Praise Team and Praise Band hold rehearsals at church on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. September through May and on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. June through August. The Praise Team and Praise Band are always looking for new members. Please see Scott or Tracey for additional information.

Men's Ensemble  Contact Person - Mike Cook

The Men's Ensemble meets twice a month before Choir practice. They practice and present a combination of fun and serious numbers for special music during worship services, at special services and other events

Contemplative Service Team  Contact Person - Becky Dale

Contemplative Worship services are held monthly on the third Thursday, 6:30 - 7:00 p.m.  These services provide a time of respite from our busy lives, to be still and open our minds and spirits to the presence and love of God through various experiences of reflection, prayer, music, scripture and much more.  All are invited and welcome.

Worship Ministry Team Meetings  Are held on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

The Worship Team is involved in all aspects of worship. Our team consists of the Chanel Choir Director, the Praise Team Director, all ministers and members of both the traditional and contemporary worship services.

The Worship Team plans for Advent and Christmas services.  Our team is responsible for the decorating of the Sanctuary and Narthex for the Christmas season. We advertise for volunteers to help with the festivities. We also ask for volunteers to light the Advent candles during worship services each week and for Christmas Eve services.

The Worship Team plans for the Lenten season with a contemplative Ash Wednesday service; Maundy Thursday service, which involves a reenactment of the Last Supper, followed by an 18-hour Good Friday Prayer Vigil. On Easter Sunday worship services are held at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

The Worship Team helps with Deacon training and recruiting deacons for all special services.

The Worship Team is responsible for recruiting and scheduling of Worship Leaders throughout the year for both services.

The Worship Team is responsible for multi-media and the sound room. We are currently in need of additional help, especially for the contemporary services. No special skills required, training is available.

During the past year the Worship Team has planned and set up for a couple special services in the Wunderlich Family Life Center. This is an exciting project to work on as our goal for one combined service is to merge the two different services into one that is meaningful to all. This type of service will be held a few times throughout the year.
