Hospitality and Evangelism Ministry

We at Community Christian Church sincerely believe that Christian hospitality is a vital part of the Christian experience and life. Our guiding principles come straight from the Scriptures as Hebrews 13:2 encourages us to “. . . welcome strangers into your home.  By doing this, some people have welcomed angels as guests without even knowing it. (CEV)  And Jesus himself gave recognition to hospitality in Matthew 25:35 when he noted that “…I was a stranger and you took me in.” (NIV) From these two premises the Hospitality and Evangelism Team endeavors to provide a welcoming environment for visitors and new members at Community Christian Church in which to experience a closer relationship with God and Our Savior in Jesus Christ.  We welcome each and every visiting person and family as guests in our church.  We are a multi-generational and fellowship-focused congregation whose members say it feels like home, and we truly aspire to make Community Christian Church feel like home to you as well.

Our team tries to live the Evangelism commitment to reach out and “tell the Good News of Jesus Christ” in all ways possible.  We invite you to attend either our traditional or contemporary worship service on Sunday morning and be part of a joyful and meaningful celebration of faith.  Enjoy coffee and doughnuts in the Narthex between services, and if you have questions, just ask anyone in our congregation.  We’ll be only too happy to help.
